Sadiq Khan

Sadiq Khan is the Mayor of London, having taken over from Boris Johnson.

Having become an MP in 2005, Mr Khan was made a Minister three years later by Gordon Brown and served as Minister for Communities and Minister for Transport.

After Labour lost two successive elections, Sadiq quit as an MP after beating Zac Goldsmith in the race to be Mayor of London.
